MCA FAQ

What is a hybrid school model?

What is the average class size at MCA?

A hybrid school model blends aspects of traditional schooling and homeschooling, offering families greater flexibility and involvement in their child's education. Students typically split their time between attending on-campus classes a few days a week and learning from home the remaining days, guided by a structured curriculum and parental support.

Our class sizes vary, but typically do not exceed 12-15 students.

What is classical education?

What type of support is there for parents?

Classical Christian Education combines the time-tested principles of Classical Education with a distinctly Christian worldview. This approach emphasizes cultivating wisdom, virtue, and eloquence while grounding students in biblical truth and teaching them to see all of life through the lens of Scripture.

MCA is dedicated to make sure that parents "co-teachers" have the support they need! Here are 3 ways we help: 1. Parent Training: At the start of each new school year, MCA hosts a co-teacher parent training along with a Q&A session to provide support and address any questions parents may have as they prepare for the year ahead. 2. Detailed Lesson Plans: Our dedicated teachers are hard at work creating detailed lesson plans to support our amazing co-teacher parents! In our hybrid school model, teamwork is key, and these plans ensure a seamless learning experience at home and in the classroom. 3. Community Page: Our Parent Community Page & Group Me chats are the hub for connection, support, and resources! It’s a place where families can stay informed, share ideas, and build lasting relationships, all while working together to support our students’ success.

What days/times does MCA meet in person?

MCA meets for in person classes every Monday and Thursday from 7:45 am until 3:30pm. Satellite work at home is on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
